"Are you ready to accept all the challenges you'll face??!" And that was the foundation of the whole  parallel universe  we are talking about. A universe where "Once upon a time..." will end with "...and they lived happily ever after."  Well, surely my heart had skipped a beat, in the middle of a class full of people and with an intense topic being discussed on the board. "Was I?" My subconscious would know it! It was one of those times when I felt the need for air to cling on to life! I didn't want to lie. I was too scared to own up the truth! I obviously wasn't absolutely ready for it at all! But   what if he wanted a committed relationship and knowing I'm not ready for it, he backed out?! But I'd never want to start over a lie! Somehow when we spoke about it, we both concluded how uncertain we both were about the innumerable challenges that we would have to face! We didn't have a clue about what would happe...

"I'm not high!" And that's how everything started! 'High' being the escapade while the rushing blood through the veins being the trigger! Amidst the dilemma of getting a 'semi-colon'  tattoo and writing heartbreaking blogs, brewed a whole different story! Well, they say everything happens for a reason! Yet when all reasons and logic fail, yeah, you know it's the antidote for an epic loneliness! Yeah, reasons failed. Mind blended with the heart and decisions were all over the place! The brain to mouth filter had resigned for a night and the heart decided to kiss the horizon for one time she could! Horizon it was! A horizon larger than life. That gave hopes and happiness in one package. Horizon that carried away all the pains of the past in one word! "Ditto"! :) It embraced me the way I was, and it was kinda perfect! May not be to the world, but to me it was the most perfect situation I could have possibly asked for, from life!...

With the soothing summer breeze as her hair played in the wind and ended up entangled in a knot, so were her thoughts. The night was chilly and had enveloped the whole vicinity with an air of eeriness. "Why is my love so dysfunctional?" Her  subconscious had slyly disappeared, when she needed her the most. There were friends whom she could ask, but they were far away. The top floor verandah of the slumbered hostel building, overhanging the whole valley in front, had just one word hanging in the air! "D-Y-S-F-U-N-C-T-I-O-N-A-L"  "Don't cry for your love, cry tears of joy... 'coz you're in alive... Cradled in LOVE!" Putting the song on repeat mode, she kept running her whole life before her eyes like a movie screen. Yes a movie it was. Predictable. Clitched. Like a circle. To my Boyfriend , You've taught me to live larger than life! You've taught me to hold on to yourself when there's nothing else around. You've taught me making and breaking rules. You've been there beside me at the oddest of situations, whoever's fault may it be! You've guided me through thick and thin and you've moulded me to keep a straight face even if you're shattered inside. I owe my life to you and everything that I have in it. You're the one who've got me used to being the best, deserving the best and achieving the best and I wish to continue being Your best till the Sun stops rising! 'coz every ending has a beginning. This novel has a sequel.... Suddenly I realised it's been over an hour. I kept standing naked, blank, after turning off the shower. The water droplets kept making trails all along my bare skin from the dripping hair to my feet. When everyone in this mighty world, was fast asleep, there was one shattered soul wide awake. I kept sitting at the corner of the dark moist foggy washroom, smelling of despair, regret and helplessness emanating from my body. It was cold inside. I felt the need of warmth. At least a source of material warmth. Drying off the residual water I huddled up on my chair and fired up Facebook on my laptop. The search bar had his name on top. Throughout the day I had spent going through his pictures just to feel his presence around.  I couldn't get over his voice. His aroma was still fresh all over my body. The marks he had left last night were still red and new. I could still feel him all over. T...

The mist, the fog, the sudden bursts of torrential downpour... they knew it all! So did know that sparkling dew drop carefully held at the tip of that insignificant grass that would be smashed in the morning by the incessant marching of black boots following the rhythm of the drum beats. The purple night sky knew and knew the overhanging darkness of the night. The sleeping birds, the twinkling stars, the ever-lit moon and the next morning's first ray of light... they all probably knew!  And finally, it was officially known to the world.  As the clock struck midnight, A teenager lost the teen from the age, While the nation turned seventy!   It was the hour for celebration and it was worth it! Celebrations for surviving the growing cruelty and brutality of the mankind! For cherishing every moment of her whole being. Of rejoicing the making and the maker. Of counting on to all those people who mean the most in her life, and the others who not so matter....

To the endless hours of talking...!! To the only lifeline even if every other person in the world abandons me! To the "Lady with a Lamp" that lights up my life! To my saviour... To those times when we keep agreeing upon every opinion, which is almost 99% times and decide to travel to Mars and stay together... 'coz possibly Earth isn't sufficient to contain us! To that 1% of times when I did not agree with you and have regretted later for not having agreed! To the person I depend on the most... To the person who actually understands every change in breathing of mine... To the person who can sense that something's wrong even 3000 kms away! To the person I wake up to and sleep with! To the only person whom I feel I'm responsible about! For the only person I know who depends on me completely! Who's whole life revolves around my existence! Whom I have to rescue from the hands of this cruel world! The person I relate to the most!  This beautiful... Awe-i...

The best thing about this Heavenly ride we're on is, this place, with the most unpredictable and bizarre weather conditions ever, is actually very soothing when it comes to the ease of getting familiarised in an alien place! Manipal will always... I mean it, ALWAYS keep you so busy 24x7... you don't exactly get much time to contemplate over the why's and the how's of your landing here... Neither will she ever... and again I mean it, EVER make you feel like leaving everything and running into the hills that the 19th and 20th blocks (Boys Hostel) elegantly face...! Though the last statement has a small condition applied... THE COMPANY YOU MAKE... Yeah... it matters a lot... the only key to have such a contended stay 2122 kms away from the place you owned for 19 years of your life, is, you have to make a very good friends circle... people whom you'd have to bank on for the rest of the four years... 'cause you'll never ever make such close friends ever again ...

First day of college! :D W earing this same check shirt this morning suddenly reminded me of this first day selfie! How everyday fleets away in front of your eyes and you keep staring into infinity! We address time as 'IT'. But its no less than a living entity! Ticking every second... escaping from your clenched fist like a sand grain slips out when you try to captivate a handful inside your clenched fist! How things are ending in a full Circle!  A year is about to pass. Showstoppers MIT One of the craziest evenings that I've had a chance to live through in my 19 years of lifetime!!!!! A big thank you to Student Council MIT...!! A huge initiative and a bigger success especially with the winning of India on homegrounds..... Kudos and Congo to you...!! Crazy as hell it was...! Its almost impossible to express the whole evening in a article... It was more about living in the moment than than just cherishing the moments later...!! Starting with the mind blowing performance from Showstoppers to the blood warming fielding from India.... The heart-throbbing batting by Virat Kohli to M.S.Dhoni's expected ending 4.... everything...... an unbeatable experience.... More than the winning part what mattered was the ambience...... As soon as the Flash Mob was over the whole crowd ran to food court to grab a chair and secure a seat as close to the projector as possible..... Watching a India v\s Pakistan match with guys was the best experience.... for...

The sad sky... The vast loneliness... The streaming down drops of rain and you and I........
