Trespassing The Barred Hindrance....

The basic plan is to begin from where I ended last... Merely to uphold the continuity... since, we're talking about a series... So... that's where we had ended...! Talking about how the one whole year is ending in a full circle... and this is exactly how it had all started...

The First Morning... 30th July, 2015!

30th July, 2015... the morning did not see the consoling rays of the beautiful Sun that sets in the lost edges of the End Point... For those who aren't a part of or haven't visited Manipal, End Point, is one of the first few places you'll get to see in the first few days of your visit... As the name suggests... It is the End Point of Manipal from where you get a complete overview of the whole valley that dips down at your feet and you actually feel At The Top of the World! :D

The view of the consoling rays of the beautiful Sun that sets in the lost edges of the End Point!

The mighty Volvo stopped at the gates of the Kasturba Medical College... and the first thing I had to bear, after getting off was, those seeking eyes of my mother, scanning the inside of the Medical college as far as possible from outside... probably questioning Almighty the reasons for not ending up entering the gates before her and searching for an auto, instead, to head for the Engineering unit of the University... For those who doesn't know... I had tried to crack the state Medical entrance exams last year and as usually couldn't make it... So finally ended up where I always wanted to be... MIT... However, on one side when my dreams were gradually coming true and the surprises were unfolding themselves with every step... there were my parents whose dreams had taken a sharp turn it seems!

To give a brief idea... If you're travelling from Bangalore towards Manipal you will cover all the colleges under the University before finally reaching the Indian MIT! Which is surely not in Sikkim! :3 And which also quantifies the unending number of colleges you'll come across before finally reaching those Yellow T-Shaped structures you'll have seen in the introductory post...!

MIT Food Court

But if you're travelling in an auto... the first impression of Manipal Institute of Technology would be portrayed by the eccentric architecture of the Food Court... and if you're heading for those two obscure ladies hostel blocks allotted for the fresh-woman, then you'd get a religious welcome by the upright VenuGopal Temple...

VenuGopal Temple, MIT Manipal

Thus, on a misty Thursday morning a flu-attacked girl, usually found hovering around the North Calcuttan streets, trespassed the high end security of MIT and made her way to the freshman non-AC Block-XI... just in time to end one whole year of existence around the streets of Manipal, now!

Manipal had given her the coolest warm welcome with intermittent bursts of drizzle... A signature of Manipal for 8 months of  the year!

Lost as she felt amidst all the bewilderment of the the unending criss-cross roads... There was a lurking hope to have mastered every short cut... and here is one of those full circles... Closing exactly as it should... I know them all now! :D

The unending cross roads... the uphills and downhills... the village road that leads to the city! ;)

The greatest of all worries were clouding around just one major issue... How to reach college! It's so far away from hostel...! It's like travelling from village to the city for attending college! So the very first solution was a cycle... Though I don't vividly remember how and when... this idea was completely lost amidst the fresh crowd that arrived the campus with an infinite measure of freedom... and decided to experiment every illegal act that would have possibly never even occured in our parents' nightmares...! And here completes another of the full circles... The days kicked off by covering the said distance in half an hour... then gradually decreasing to and coming to a stand still at, twenty minutes in the 1st Semester... while this Semester seemed to be more adventurous... covering the distance in just ten minutes... and counting...

And thus the trespasser somehow breached an invisible security and confirmed her stay in in this dream valley... situated in a rather unacquainted place that 80% of the North Indians are unaware of being situated in South India...  MANIPAL...

Stay tuned for the rest of the journey... Happy reading...
